how my life has changed ...

... since Emerson came out to play:

i get to ride in the front seat with Daddy (since all three car seats won't fit in the backseat).

i have a baby brother to check on and watch ... isn't he cute?

this is me and Emerson. i can't wait for him to wake up and then i get to hold him!

I have a baby brother!

this is a picture of me and Papa looking at my baby brother. his name is Emerson Chase Wick. i waited a long time and on Saturday Mommie pushed out Emerson and he came out to play.

this is the first time i saw him. thank you Papa for picking me up so i could see him.

this is a picture of me holding Emerson for the first time!!! i was very gentle even though i was very excited. i have wanted a baby sister, but i really like my new baby brother.

after i got to hold him, i went back to the farm with my grandmother Boo. i was really excited about getting to spend the night again with her and Papa and Aunt Rhonda.

here is me and Emerson on Sunday when i came and saw him after church with Boo and Papa. i really love my baby brother.

i would like to hold him when are at our house. i have to wait until he wakes up. it is hard to wait because babies sleep a lot and i want to hold him all the time.

Lillian went under the water!

Lucky and i were both at the community pool and were able to work with both girls in the main pool. We had Lillian jumping into the water ... it took some coaxing but once she did, we had to remind her several times to make sure you inform the person catching you that you are about to jump. She jumped INTO Lucky several times, but her bravery shined through once again!

She enjoyed jumping into our arms and into the water (with us catching her first) a lot! She is a bit apprehensive about jumping and going under the water, but once she does she is SO proud of herself. I wish i had pictures, but even though i had my camera with us ... there wasn't much time to take them with needing all 4 adult hands to keep the two of them safe. :)

She also loves the spray ground (i'll have to post a picture of that one of these days!) and is getting braver in there too. There is a big pole with BIG cones hanging from it that get filled up with water and when they get full, they dump the water on you. It is kind of hard for a kid and having so much water on you (especially when you don't like showers yet!) makes it scarey for them. But when we decided to go to the pool on Lucky's birthday, she said "i'll be brave and i'll get dumped on with you, Daddy." it was funny, when we got there, she said "i don't want to get dumped" LOL ... but surprise surprise ... she did! and was proud of herself there too!

Yay Lillian! You are growing up SO much!
